Former President Donald Trump to Join Fox News for Town Hall Event

After months of attacking Fox News for being in the tank for Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, former President Donald Trump will join the network for a town hall event next week.

The event will take place in New Hampshire and will be moderated by host Sean Hannity, according to The Hill.

The town hall will be taped on June 1 and will air on the network later in the evening.

Trump’s Recent Attacks on Fox News

Despite his upcoming appearance on the network, Trump has been critical of Fox News in recent months. He has accused the network of losing “prestige” and being “way down in the ratings” since firing Tucker Carlson in April.

Trump has also accused Fox News of pushing DeSantis and his candidacy, calling the network the “DeSanctimonious Network.”

However, many are still expecting Trump and DeSantis to emerge as the two most likely candidates from the 2024 GOP primary.

Other Candidates in the 2024 GOP Primary

In addition to Trump and DeSantis, Nikki Haley, Vivek Ramaswamy, and Tim Scott have all announced bids for the 2024 GOP primary. Former Vice President Mike Pence is also expected to join the race soon.

Despite the crowded field, Trump’s upcoming town hall on Fox News is sure to draw a lot of attention from both his supporters and his critics.
