Great American Family, the faith-based television network, has been experiencing a surge in viewership, and Hollywood actress Candace Cameron Bure couldn’t be happier. The release stated that Great American Family is “leading all networks in year-over-year viewership increases for the seventh consecutive month” and has retained its position as TV’s fastest-growing network in both Second quarter 2023 to date and 2023 Year to Date. According to Nielsen Media Research, the network has seen the largest gains in Total Day and Primetime viewership among both Households and Total Viewers.

Bure recently spoke to the Wall Street Journal about joining Great American Family and said she wanted to share “faith-filled” stories “that have more meaning and purpose and depth behind them.” She left Hallmark for GAF after its programming and advertising started involving LGBTQ-themed stories, including the first original holiday movie focused on a same-sex couple, “The Holiday Sitter,” in December.

In an earlier statement about her move to GAF, the “Fuller House” star said she was “very excited to develop heartwarming family and faith-filled programming and make the kind of stories my family and I love to watch.
