Barry Moore wins Alabama Senate GOP runoff
rep. barry moore (R-AL) won the Alabama GOP Senate primary runoff by defeating former Navy SEAL jared Hudson, ensuring Moore’s position as the state’s next senator. Moore secured approximately 58.7% of the vote against Hudson’s 41.3%, with much of the vote counted when the race was called. Even though Moore was the favorite entering the race, his victory faced some unpredictability, with varying polls showing different lead margins. Trump’s backing proved decisive, preventing an upset by Hudson. Moore’s campaign highlighted his background as a waste removal business owner, appealing to voters.
