Bill Maher fed up with liberal BS on Biden’s border crisis: “You’re full of it.”

HBO Host Bill ⁢Maher Slams Hypocrisy of “Woke” Cities on Immigration

HBO host Bill Maher, a self-proclaimed “old-school liberal,” is calling out ‌progressive ‍leaders of “woke” ⁤cities, including New York City, for their hypocrisy in complaining about the influx of asylum seekers.

“Could everybody just⁣ stop ⁢the posturing?” Maher questions in his​ “Club ‍Random” podcast. He criticizes‍ sanctuary cities for welcoming migrants but panicking when they actually ⁣arrive from overwhelmed border states.

Maher⁤ doesn’t hold back, stating, “Don’t pretend that⁣ you love migrants so much and then when⁢ [border states] send them to you, you don’t like ‌them. You know ⁤— you’re full of‌ s*** and we can see that.”

He points out the irony ​of these cities embracing migrants ​when it’s not their problem, but then complaining when they arrive in places like⁤ Chicago and ⁤New York. Maher believes this crisis exposes policies that​ contradict the true essence of liberalism.

The Clash Between Liberalism and Woke Mentality

Maher highlights the disparity between liberalism, which seeks humane solutions to move people off the streets, and the woke mentality, which resists any measure to relocate them, asserting that the ‌streets are their homes.

“Liberalism is ‘For the sake of humanity and compassion, can⁢ we get these people off the streets?’ And woke⁤ is, ‘How dare you ask them to move! This is ​their home.’ No, it’s not!”

He⁤ suggests that there must ⁤be a better solution than simply putting the ​unhoused in hotels, proposing the idea of using barracks‍ instead. Maher believes this option⁤ is more cost-effective and practical.

Mayor Eric Adams‍ of New York City recently warned that the migrant crisis would ‍impact neighborhoods as‌ the city struggles⁤ to accommodate approximately 91,000 new arrivals from the border.

Earlier this year, ⁤Adams accused Texas Republican Gov. ⁤Greg Abbott ​of ⁤targeting black-run ⁣cities with migrant buses, calling⁢ it “morally bankrupt” and racially motivated.

Maher’s Disappointment with President Biden

In Sunday’s episode, Maher⁤ expressed his disappointment with ‌President Biden’s lack of competency, particularly ⁤in handling⁢ the withdrawal from Afghanistan and the border situation.

“The‍ competency worries‍ me more than ideology. Like it makes me think no matter what politics you people are, you’re the same person who can’t get anything⁤ done,” ‌Maher said.

Despite his criticism, ​Maher stated that he would still support President Biden in a rematch against former President Donald Trump ‍in 2024.
