1. The ViewJoy Behar, a journalist for the Associated Press, says that Biden wins the election “benefit of the doubt” On classified documents. Trump isn’t so lucky.

After President Joe Biden was found mishandling classified documents in his office, mainstream media quickly differentiated between his documents and the documents of former president Donald Trump.

“We all know that Trump is a liar and a thief,” Joy Behar spoke on Tuesday’s episode The View. “So it’s not that big a jump to say that he obstructed and he lied. We don’t think that Biden is a liar and a thief, so we give him the benefit of the doubt.”

At least she is honest.

2. Kevin McCarthy elected speaker of the House—but not without a fight.

It took 4 days, 15 rounds and many tense conversations to elect Rep. Kevin McCarthy (R. Calif.), Speaker of the House. McCarthy assured CNN on Friday that he would. “have the votes” to win that night, so the stakes were high—but when the 14th ballot rolled around, he lost. Four of the six holdouts voted against McCarthy, and two—Reps. Matt Gaetz (R., Fla.) and Lauren Boebert (R., Colo.)—voted present. McCarthy and the other legislators weren’t happy.
