WATCH: Super PAC Urging DeSantis To Run For President Releases First Digital Ad

Never Back Down is the super PAC that is driving for Florida Governor Ron DeSantis to run for president in 2024 released its first digital ad on Thursday. In this ad, we hear a range of conservative adults speaking, saying, “When the world went mad, we stood as a refuge of sanity.” They also talked about men and women fighting for children and their education while standing against the woke Left and promoting the future economy. The ad concluded with Ron DeSantis stating, “You’re coming after the rights of parents, I’m standing in your way. Freedom is here to stay.”

Earlier this month, Never Back Down announced that it had raised more than $30 million in under four weeks since it first launched. The super PAC raised the funds for a potential DeSantis presidential campaign without counting any funds from other committees, including DeSantis’ state political committee, which had already raised more than $82 million. Half of the donations came from outside Florida. Never Back Down, under the leadership of former Acting Deputy Secretary of Homeland Security Kenneth T. Cuccinelli II, has seen a massive surge in support to make Gov. DeSantis become President DeSantis, according to Erin Perrine, the super PAC’s communications director who formerly served as the press communications director for former President Donald Trump’s 2020 campaign.

Never Back Down, who hired Jeff Roe, a key aide in campaigns for Senator Ted Cruz of Texas and Gov. Glenn Youngkin of Virginia, views DeSantis and Trump as the only two viable GOP presidential candidates. Roe stated recently that there was “no room for a third or fourth, or even fifth person in this race.”
