Vice President JD Vance is scheduled to speak at the U.S. Air Force Academy’s commencement ceremony on Thursday at 11:30 a.m. in Colorado, where more than 900 students will become officers in the Air force and Space Force. Vance, a former U.S. Marine Corps veteran, will join a line of recent vice presidents who have addressed cadets at the ceremony, including Kamala Harris in 2024; Lyndon B. Johnson was the first vice president to speak at the event in 1962.
