Secretary of State Marco Rubio will appear in the White House press briefing room on Tuesday at 3 p.m. for the first briefing as press secretary Karoline Leavitt began maternity leave. While Leavitt will not have a single replacement during her leave,multiple administration officialsincluding rubio and Vice President JD Vance-will cover the lectern. Rubio is expected to face questions about the Iran war and his upcoming trip to Vatican City and Rome.
