WATCH LIVE: Adm. Brad Cooper testifies before the House Armed Services Committee

Adm. Brad Cooper, commander of U.S. central Command, is scheduled to testify before the House Armed Services Committee on Tuesday at 10 a.m. The hearing is expected to focus on questions about the U.S.military situation in the Middle East-particularly CENTCOM’s efforts related to the Iran conflict, Iran’s nuclear program, CENTCOM’s role during the ceasefire, and the current status of the conflict as peace talks restart.

Cooper will appear with Daniel Zimmerman (assistant secretary of war for international security affairs) and Gen. Dagvin Anderson (U.S. Africa Commander) for a hearing titled “U.S. Military Posture and National Security Challenges in the greater Middle East and Africa.”

Cooper will appear alongside Daniel Zimmerman, assistant secretary of war for international security affairs, and U.S. Africa Commander General Dagvin Anderson for the hearing on “U.S. Military Posture and National Security Challenges in the Greater Middle East and Africa.”
