President Joe Biden dismisses question about calls with son Hunter Biden
During a recent event in New Mexico, President Joe Biden was asked about his alleged business calls with his son, Hunter Biden. The question came from Fox News reporter Peter Doocy, who referenced testimony from Hunter Biden’s former business partner, Devon Archer. Archer claimed that Hunter would put his father on speakerphone to demonstrate his influence and connections.
Doocy asked, “There’s this testimony now where one of your son’s former business associates is claiming that you were on speakerphone a lot with them, talking business. Is that — what –”
Biden quickly shut down the question, stating, ”I never talked business with anybody. I knew you’d have a lousy question.” When Doocy pressed further, asking why it was a lousy question, Biden simply replied, “Because it’s not true,” effectively ending the interaction.
Despite Biden’s response, social media criticism followed. Critics accused him of repeatedly denying allegations and evidence, suggesting that elected Democrats do not care about the truth.

According to Archer’s testimony to the House Oversight Committee, Hunter Biden would occasionally make it clear that he had spoken to his father and would even put him on speakerphone. However, Archer described these conversations as casual and unrelated to business matters. He emphasized that the significance of the calls was the implied influence and connections they represented.
Peter Doocy believes that Biden’s refusal to discuss the calls is part of a Democratic campaign strategy to divert attention from potential legal issues surrounding former President Donald Trump. Doocy stated, “They don’t want to be talking about the possible legal problem for their side.”
