Trump questions Biden’s mental awareness.

Former President Trump Expresses Concern Over President Biden’s Mental State

“But this is the most dangerous time in the history of our country because of the power of the weaponry. And we have somebody that doesn’t understand what’s happening. And it’s a very dangerous thing; it’s a very bad thing,”

Former President Donald Trump discussed President Joe Biden’s mental and physical state during a town hall in Iowa on Fox News’s Hannity. Trump expressed concern over the president’s mental state amid tensions around the world. He claimed that Biden “doesn’t understand what’s happening” amid the “most dangerous time in the history of our country.”

Despite his concerns, Trump also said that it is “not appropriate” to make jokes about Biden’s mental state, even telling host Sean Hannity not to make jokes about it.

“I said I just don’t think it’s good for anybody. It’s not appropriate. You can speak about it if you want, but I don’t think you should joke about it,”

The discussion of Biden’s health comes the same day Biden took a fall during the Air Force Academy graduation ceremony. The White House confirmed Biden was “fine” after the fall, which appeared to be caused by a sandbag on the stage.

“You know, they’re representing, we are all representing the country. You become president and you’re sort of not allowed to do that but it’s happened; it’s happened and it’s happened pretty badly. We won’t go into it, but we all know the ones, and they count those acts; you know they never forget. But that was a bad fall,”

2024 Primary Election Season

Trump has consistently led the GOP field in the polls, with Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) in a close second behind him. Other candidates, including Nikki Haley, Sen. Tim Scott (R-SC), and Vivek Ramaswamy, among others, are far behind the two Florida men. The town hall is Trump’s second of the 2024 primary election season. He participated in a town hall on CNN last month.
