The ‘Twitter Files’ Reveal Big Tech’s Unholy Alliance With The Feds Exists To Control You

Here are the details: The following is an adaption of a talk Delivered at Hillsdale College on February 7, 2023.

Elon Musk’s October takeover of Twitter and the subsequent reporting “Twitter Files” This is the story that Matt Taibbi, Bari Weiss and a few others started in early December. It is one of today’s most important news stories. The “Twitter Files” The story covers and connects every major scandal in the Trump-Biden era. Simply put, the “Twitter Files” The unholy alliance between Big Tech, the deep state and Big Tech is designed to suppress free speech and maintain an official narrative through propaganda and censorship. This should not be a surprise, but it should cause us to act in defense of the First Amendment, free elections and our country.

Musk fired many insubordinate or useless employees after completing his acquisition of Twitter. He also instituted new content moderation policies and attempted to reform a corporate culture that was bordered on parody. Musk collaborated with Taibbi, Weiss, and others to publish a series of stories using internal Twitter documents. They covered major political events over many years including the Hunter Biden laptop controversy, Twitter’s secret Shadowbanning policy, President Trumps suspension from Twitter following the Jan. 6, U.S. Capitol riot, and the FBI co-opting Twitter for suppression. “election disinformation” ahead of the 2020 election, Twitter’s involvement in a Pentagon overseas psy-op campaign, its silencing of dissent from the official Covid narrative, its complicity in the Russiagate hoax, and its gradual capitulation to the direct involvement of the U.S. intelligence community — with the FBI as a go-between — in content moderation. 

Taibbi said it best: “Twitter Files” “show the FBI acting as doorman to a vast program of social media surveillance and censorship, encompassing agencies across the federal government — from the State Department to the Pentagon to the CIA.”

The “Twitter Files” Although there are many stories, we will only be able to focus on three of them and their implications. These include the suppression of Hunter Biden’s laptop story, Trump’s suspension and the FBI’s deputization for Twitter. These stories show not only a social media company that is willing to do the bidding a corrupt federal bureaucracy but also a federal bureaucracy that is openly hostile towards the First Amendment.

On Oct. 14, 2020, the New York Post published its first major exposé based on the contents of Hunter Biden’s laptop, which had been dropped off at a Delaware computer repair shop in April 2019 and never picked up. This was just one of many stories about the Biden family’s corruption. It also revealed Joe Biden’s close involvement in his son’s foreign ventures during and after Biden’s vice presidency.
