Residents of New Mexico who have filed their 2021 taxes are eligible for a rebate of either $500 for single filers or $1,000 for married taxpayers filing jointly. The rebates will be issued either through direct deposit or via paper check, with direct deposits starting on June 16 and paper checks being issued in late June. If you’ve changed your banking information since submitting your tax return, don’t worry – you’ll receive your rebate as a check in the mail.

Update Your Information

If you’ve moved since filing your 2021 tax return, make sure to update your address using the Taxpayer Access Point self-service portal on the state’s Taxation and Revenue Department website. Alternatively, you can submit a change of address form to the department.
