Shen Yun: ‘The Human Spirit Will Prevail,’ Says Engineering VP
CHARLOTTE, N.C.— Randy Jones, vice president for an engineering company in North Carolina, was delighted by the exquisiteness of Shen Yun Performing Arts at the Belk Theater at Blumenthal Performing Arts Center on the afternoon of March 4.
“I believe the costumes They are gorgeous, the dancing beautiful, and I too love the music,” Mr. Jones said.
“There was great storytelling going on … it’s fun to mix storytelling and beautiful flowing dance,” He said.
New York-based Shen Yun Performing Arts, the largest classical Chinese dance company worldwide. By using the universal language that is music and dance Shen Yun Presents story-based dances that depict heavenly realms and ancient legends.
Particularly attracted by the exquisite costumes of the dancers, Mr. Jones found himself captivated.
“The color, the fabric, the way that they flow with the music and the dance, it’s so complementary to what the artists are doing,” He said.
