COVID-19 Lockdowns ‘Systematically’ Wiped Out Middle Class, Says RFK Jr.

Get ready to hear some hard-hitting truths from Robert F. Kennedy Jr., the Democratic 2024 presidential candidate. He recently spoke out about how COVID-19 lockdowns have destroyed the middle class in the United States, and how it has yet to recover.

According to Kennedy, a strong economy and a vibrant middle class are the backbone of a nation. But the middle class has been systematically wiped out by COVID-19-related policies that have only benefited the elite ruling class. In fact, Kennedy claims that these policies have shifted $4 trillion in wealth from the middle class to a “new aristocracy of billionaires.”

And it gets worse. Kennedy says that these lockdowns have created 500 new billionaires, including the likes of Bill Gates, Mark Zuckerberg, Jeffrey Bezos, and Bloomberg. These billionaires increased their wealth by 30 percent during the pandemic, while Amazon got to shut down all of its competitors. It’s no wonder that Kennedy believes that former President Donald Trump initiated those lockdowns.

But here’s the kicker: Trump, as president, had little authority to issue lockdowns at the state or local level. In fact, he even warned that keeping the United States shut down would “ultimately inflict more harm than it would prevent.” Yet mainstream media outlets frequently criticized Trump and essentially blamed his policies for the rise of COVID-19-related deaths that year.

So, what’s the solution? Kennedy believes that a permanent lockdown is not a viable path forward. And he’s in a better position to run against Donald Trump than any of the Democrats because he can hold him accountable for the worst thing that he did, which was the lockdowns.
