According to Sean Gallagher, brother of retired Navy SEAL Senior Chief Eddie Gallagher, the Pipe Hitter Foundation agreed to support Marine Lance Cpl. Catherine Arnett after her command and supervisors retaliated against her for refusing the COVID-19 vaccine on religious grounds. Arnett was transferred from Okinawa, Japan to the Navy brig in Miramar, California for 100 days without her belongings as part of her pretrial treatment. The foundation intervened after her family reached out, and she was eventually released.
