Pritzker says Trump may have dementia
Gov. JB Pritzker of Illinois claimed that president Donald Trump may have dementia, expressing his belief that something is genuinely wrong with him. While emphasizing he is not a medical professional and has not diagnosed Trump, Pritzker pointed to changes in Trump’s speech and responses over the years as evidence. the comments sparked controversy, especially since Trump and the White House have denied health concerns, citing routine health regimens and denying reports about certain treatments. Recent public observations of Trump’s physical appearance, including bruising, have also drawn attention, though officials attribute these to everyday activities and health practices.
Gov. JB Pritzker (D-IL) says he thinks President Donald Trump has dementia, declaring, “I really think that there’s something genuinely wrong with him.”
“I think if you look at any of the videos from 2015 or 2016 and look at how he responded to questions and how he was at press conferences, and then you fast forward and look at him now,” Pritzker said on CNN’s The Source with Kaitlan Collins Tuesday.

Noting that he is not a doctor, Pritzker didn’t back down from his claim when Collins asked him if he was serious.
“I’m not a doctor, I haven’t diagnosed anything,” Pritzker said. “I’m just suggesting to you that just look at the way he puts words and sentences together and thoughts, and they’re almost divergent in the same sentences.”
Trump’s physical and mental health has been a constant topic of public conversation in recent months.

Although Trump and the White House have denied claims of health concerns, bruising on Trump’s hand has drawn repeated public attention during appearances, which the White House attributed to frequent hand shaking and aspirin use, a part of his cardiovascular health regimen.
The White House also recently denied claims of Trump’s use of an experimental weight loss drug.
