NYT: Biden’s Interaction with Son’s Business Partners Known, Sparks Mockery.
The New York Times has recently reported on an intriguing revelation about President Joe Biden and his involvement with his son Hunter’s business partners. This news has sparked a wave of ridicule and teasing on social media.
Critics of the Gray Lady have accused the newspaper of “gaslighting” the public, especially after lawmakers began sharing information from Devon Archer, a former business partner of Hunter Biden, during a closed-door interview.
Washington Free Beacon investigative reporter Chuck Ross shared his surprise, stating, “I’m guessing most NYT readers did not know this,” along with a screenshot of the passage. New York Post columnist Miranda Devine responded, “This takes the cake! Something Joe Biden denied for three years and the NYT defended him on. Now it’s old news. You have to laugh.”

According to members of Congress, Archer revealed to the House Oversight Committee that Hunter Biden would put his father, who was then the vice president, on speaker phone during meetings with business associates to promote the “brand” and create the “illusion of access.” For years, Joe Biden claimed to have never discussed his son’s business dealings, but the White House has recently changed its tune, stating that the elder Biden never engaged in business with his son.
For those familiar with conservative politics and media, it was a significant concession for The New York Times to acknowledge that it has “long been known” that the elder Biden had interactions with his son’s business partners.
“Folks, just look at this sentence from the NYT,” remarked Fox News contributor Guy Benson.
“‘It has long been known. We just hid it from you,'” quipped Christina Pushaw, rapid response director for Florida Republican Governor Ron DeSantis’s 2024 presidential campaign.

“As others have pointed out, the progression is perfect,” said Republican operative Matt Whitlock. “1. Joe has never spoken to his son about his business dealings 2. Joe has never spoken to Hunter’s business partners 3. We all have known all along that Joe spoke to his son’s business partners.. duh.”
