NYPD Catches Suspect in Beating of 90-Year-Old Candy Shop Owner

Alvarez recounted the terrifying encounter to News 4 and said that he was hit in the head with a belt with a rock at its end. He politely declined seltzer water but his attacker.

Alvarez received extensive injuries at Beth Israel Hospital on Thursday, two days after the attack. New York Post reported. The Post reported that he is unable to eat from a straw as his jaw has been dislocated and that he has three broken bones around his eyes and face.
