Nikki Haley super PAC forecasts growth with Scott exit, predicts DeSantis dropout
Is Nikki Haley the Big Winner of Tim Scott Suspending His Presidential Campaign?
Stand for America Fund, the super PAC supporting former United Nations Ambassador Nikki Haley’s 2024 presidential campaign, predicted additional upward momentum in a Tuesday memo, in which it also speculated when Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) would drop out of the race.
Following Sen. Tim Scott’s (R-SC) suspension of his presidential campaign on Sunday, SFA Fund revealed, “Our internal polling has consistently shown that Nikki would benefit the most from Tim Scott dropping out of the race for president,” noting that Scott supporters frequently preferred Haley as their second choice.
In the memo, the PAC’s lead strategist, Mark Harris, said Haley benefits the most from a narrowing Republican primary field. He explained that as more candidates drop out, time, money, and resources will be significantly tested — and he said Haley is the only candidate with sufficient amounts of each to “go the distance.”
This week, Haley’s campaign launched its first ad reservation, with $10 million in Iowa and New Hampshire for television, radio, and digital campaigns, which will run from December through the Iowa caucuses and New Hampshire primary. In contrast, DeSantis’s campaign has secured just over $2 million in advertising between now and the caucuses in Iowa.
Harris further blasted DeSantis’s super PAC and campaign efficacy with their spending. Haley’s new television spending advantage over the Florida governor “means DeSantis will likely be dramatically out in the closing months of the campaign,” according to him.
The PAC also cast doubt on DeSantis’s standing in Iowa, where he is focusing nearly all of his campaign resources until the caucuses. Harris said the Florida governor is “barely ‘hanging on'” in the Hawkeye State while noting his relatively poor standing in New Hampshire and South Carolina as opposed to Haley. “We have to ask: How many more nails does DeSantis’ coffin need before he finally calls it quits?” he wrote.
Lastly, he reiterated the super PAC and Haley campaign’s argument for her nomination, saying she is the only candidate who can successfully take on not only former President Donald Trump but President Joe Biden as well.

What factors have contributed to the significant boost in support for Nikki Haley among Republican voters?
Numbers show a significant boost for Nikki Haley, with a substantial increase in support among Republican voters. With Scott’s exit from the race, many see Haley as the big winner and the potential front-runner for the Republican nomination in 2024.”
This announcement comes as no surprise to political observers, as Nikki Haley has been steadily gaining momentum and support in recent months. As a former governor of South Carolina and United Nations ambassador under the Trump administration, Haley has built a strong reputation within the Republican Party and has proven herself to be a formidable leader.
Haley’s appeal lies not only in her experience and credentials but also in her ability to connect with a wide range of voters. Her message of unity, economic growth, and strong leadership resonates with the Republican base, as well as with moderate and independent voters. Haley’s inclusive and pragmatic approach to politics sets her apart from other candidates and makes her a strong contender for the presidency.
With Scott’s withdrawal from the race, Haley now has an opportunity to consolidate the conservative vote and position herself as the candidate who can bridge the gap between the different factions within the Republican Party. Scott’s endorsement of Haley further strengthens her position and could potentially bring in new supporters who previously backed the senator.
However, Haley’s path to the nomination is not without challenges. With other potential candidates, such as Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, still in the race, Haley will need to work hard to solidify her support and maintain her momentum. DeSantis, who is widely popular among conservatives, may pose a significant threat to Haley’s campaign.
Nevertheless, the recent developments in the race have undoubtedly put Haley in a favorable position. As the field narrows and candidates drop out, Haley’s chances of securing the nomination increase. If she can continue to build on her current momentum and navigate through potential challenges, Nikki Haley has a real shot at becoming the Republican Party’s nominee in 2024.
What remains to be seen is how Haley will capitalize on this newfound momentum and whether she can effectively present herself as the unity candidate who can appeal to a broad range of voters. The race for the Republican nomination is far from over, but with Scott’s departure, Haley has emerged as a significant player and the big winner in this stage of the campaign.
As the Stand for America Fund predicts additional upward momentum for Nikki Haley’s campaign, it is clear that her path to the nomination is becoming increasingly viable. The coming months will be crucial in determining whether Haley can maintain her current trajectory and establish herself as the Republican Party’s best hope for 2024. Only time will tell if Nikki Haley is indeed the big winner in the wake of Tim Scott’s withdrawal.
