Kari Lake praises Trump’s town hall, deeming him ‘very gracious’.

Kari Lake Praises Trump’s CNN Town Hall Performance

Former gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake made a surprise appearance on Steven Bannon’s War Room on Thursday to congratulate former President Donald Trump on his “incredible job” during his recent CNN town hall.

Collins’ Bias

Lake shared her opinion on the town hall, including her perception that moderator Kaitlan Collins had an “obvious” bias against Trump. “President Trump, he held his fire. I was really impressed,” Lake said. “You know, he was very kind considering what she was doing and how biased she was. There was no interest in just talking about policy and letting people decide. It was definitely agenda-driven. Complete nastiness.”

Trump’s Performance

Lake also quoted Trump when he called Collins a “nasty woman” during the town hall. She went on to say that Trump did “an incredible job” and discussed a phone call she had with him in which he implied he also thought the town hall went well.

2024 Running Mate?

Lake has long been a supporter of Trump and is rumored to be his 2024 running mate since his falling out with former Vice President Mike Pence. The Arizona Republican has also been a vocal opponent of Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, who is rumored to run against Trump.

Election Challenge

Arizona’s last election challenge on the matter of Lake’s November loss to Gov. Katie Hobbs (D-AZ) has its oral presentations beginning on Friday. Maricopa County Superior Court Judge Peter Thompson directed both sides on Monday to file written arguments throughout the week.
