Joe Exotic the ‘Tiger King’ announces 2024 presidential bid

Joseph Maldonado-Passage, or “Joe Exotic the Tiger King,” He has decided to enter the United States presidential race in 2024, as some might refer to him from the Netflix series.

Maldonado Passage, 60, is currently in a federal prison serving a 21 year sentence for multiple charges. However, he believes that his time in jail won’t prevent him from being the nation’s 47th president.Th president. He is running for office as a Libertarian.  

Mr. Exotic encouraged his fans to overlook the fact that he was exotic. “incarcerated and gay” To help him “take back the country.”

Maldonado Passage created a new presidential campaign WebsiteA personal as well as an administrative intro message.

“Thank you for your interest in my Campaign. Yes, I know I am in Federal Prison and you might think this is a joke but it’s not. It is my Constitutional right to do this even from here. I have been put here only because of the corruption in the Department of Justice, three felons that were told how to lie under oath to further this agenda, two corrupt Assistant U.S. Attorneys, two corrupt FBI Agents and one corrupt Federal Wildlife Agent. As seen by the evidence at www.joeexoticusa.com/evidence , you can see that they have admitted to perjury and they even had a plot to kill me before they set me up. I hope that you would take the time to educate yourself before judging me any further than most of you already have, because during this campaign and my life, I have not, and will not, judge you. That is why I am doing this, to finally give you a voice and your freedom back without fear of living in a country that thinks they own you and can tell you how to live your life.”

Maldonado Passage was the former owner of Greater Wynnewood Animal Park and was indicted back in 2018 on two counts each of murder-for-hire.

According to the U.S. Attorney’s Office of the Western District of Oklahoma (USA), the prosecution claimed Joe Exotic provided $3,000 to a man in order to transport from Oklahoma to Florida and to kill Carole Baskin. They also claimed that he arranged to pay thousands of additional dollars once the job was complete.  

A grand jury also indicted Maldonado Passage on 19 additional charges related to wildlife.

One of these charges was a violation the Lacey Act The Endangered Species Act.

Prosecutors claimed Mr. Exotic shot five tigers and killed them to make space for bigger cats. Prosecutors also claimed that he had sold tigers cubs to raise funds.

He is also accused of falsifying records about his lions, Tigers, and Baby Lemurs that were meant to be donated for exhibition purposes. However, they were sold to highest bidders.

Maldonado Passage wanted to get Baskin out of office, as he was a harsh critic of him and his treatment for animals.

Baskin sued Maldonado Passage in 2011 for trademark infringement. He was vocal about the alleged mistreatment of park animals.

The ‘Tiger King’ strived to have his conviction overturned but instead, ended up losing his appeal in 2022.

Mr. Exotic claimed in November 2022, that he was living ‘in the bottom of hell’ as he complained about alleged unsafe conditions inside of an Atlanta federal prison.

According to the former owner of the zoo, he claims that he is suffering from miserable living conditions while in prison.

He begged his friends to support him in getting out of prison, and finally was freed.

“Since being in custody I have seen more drugs then I ever saw on the street, I watched young and old people die from overdose, kill themselves and die from lack of medical care,” A caption was written by Mr. Exotic.
