Jane Fonda Says There’d Be No ‘Climate Crisis’ If Not For ‘Racism’ And Twitter Has Thoughts
Jane Fonda claimed that there’d be no “climate crisis” If you don’t, “racism” Twitter users had many thoughts. Some people even blasted the actress for making that comment.
In a recent episode “The Kelly Clarkson Show,” The 85-year-old Her joined the actress “80 for Brady” Co-stars listened to her talk about what inspired her to take part in social activism.
“For me, it was learning about the Vietnam War,” Fonda shared. “And when I really understood what that was about, I couldn’t not do anything except try to join the movement to stop it.”
“Well, you know, you can take anything — sexism, racism, misogyny, homophobia, whatever, the war,” The actress was also added. “And if you really get into it, and study it and learn about it and the history of it and everything’s connected. There’d be no climate crisis if it wasn’t for racism.”

Fonda was given the nickname “Hanoi Jane” In 1972, she traveled to Hanoi, Vietnam to protest the U.S. involvement during the Vietnam War. New York Post noted.
