The ⁤bill highlights the fact that around 30% of abortions in the United States are performed‌ on college-aged women between 20 and 24. To address this ⁣issue, the legislation requires federally-funded schools to⁤ provide information to all students about their rights‌ and available resources if they become pregnant.

These resources include accommodations during pregnancy, such ‍as the ability to miss class for prenatal doctor visits and the continuation of scholarships for ⁤women who need to take time off to give birth.
