J6 Committee Concealed Evidence Discrediting Democrat Conspiracies

Rep. Barry Loudermilk, R-Ga., has exposed shocking abuses by the Democrats’ partisan Jan. 6 select committee‍ in a groundbreaking report released on Monday. ⁣

Loudermilk,⁤ who chairs the Committee on House Administration’s Subcommittee on Oversight, spent the past year meticulously reviewing⁢ the work of the select committee led ⁣by then-Rep. and committee‌ Vice Chair Liz Cheney. His findings reveal⁤ that the J6 probe⁢ deliberately concealed crucial evidence that undermined the ‌Democrats’ narratives during the highly anticipated 2022 midterm elections.

“For nearly ‍two years, former Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s January 6th Select Committee promoted hearsay and cherry-picked information ⁣to serve its political agenda — to prosecute former ⁤President Donald Trump through legislation,” ⁢Loudermilk stated. “It comes as no⁤ surprise ‍that the‍ Select Committee’s final report primarily focused on former President Trump and his supporters, rather than addressing the security failures and necessary reforms to ‌ensure the safety of the United States Capitol in the present day.”

Loudermilk’s subcommittee has now unveiled the initial findings ⁤of their investigation, more⁢ than a year ‍after a separate Republican review of the Capitol ⁢security failures on January 6, 2021, revealed Pelosi’s culpability in rejecting requests to call in the National Guard preemptively.

Uncovering the⁢ Cover-Up

Shortly after Republicans regained control of the ⁤House in 2022, then-GOP Leader Kevin McCarthy sent a letter to Rep. Bennie Thompson, D-Miss., the chairman of the Jan. 6 committee, demanding the preservation of all records and transcripts collected during the⁢ investigation. However, Loudermilk’s investigators discovered that Thompson’s committee had deleted a significant amount of information, including⁢ “hundreds of video recordings.”

Loudermilk’s subcommittee also found that the ‍Select Committee failed⁣ to archive over a terabyte of digital data.

“The Select Committee also‌ deleted or withheld more than 100 digital documents from the hard drives provided to the Subcommittee,” Loudermilk’s report revealed. “These documents included numerous password-protected and encrypted files, and in some instances,‍ they were deleted just days before Republicans assumed the⁢ majority in January 2023.”

Last week, Federalist Editor-in-Chief Mollie Hemingway exposed the J6 committee for suppressing testimony from former White House Deputy Chief ⁣of Staff Anthony Ornato. In his initial interview with the select committee on January 28, 2022, Ornato revealed that⁣ he overheard Chief of Staff Mark Meadows urging ‍D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser‌ to mobilize as many ⁢National Guard troops as necessary.

“He also testified that President Trump had suggested the need for 10,000 troops to maintain peace during the public rallies and protests scheduled ⁢for January 6, 2021,” Hemingway reported. “Ornato also described the White House’s ⁤frustration with Acting⁣ Secretary ⁤of Defense Christopher Miller’s slow ⁣deployment of assistance on the afternoon of January 6, 2021.”

Ornato’s testimony directly contradicts the‌ Jan. 6 committee’s narrative of a president inciting an “insurrection.”

A few months later, the Jan. 6⁢ committee’s star witness, Cassidy Hutchinson, who had worked for Meadows, publicly testified that Ornato had informed ‌her that President ⁣Trump had attempted to forcefully take control of the presidential‌ limousine and drive himself to the Capitol⁣ during the riot. However, immediately after Hutchinson’s‌ dramatic appearance, Ornato stated that he was prepared to testify under⁢ oath that nothing Hutchinson described had ever occurred. Ornato had previously informed lawmakers that there were ‍never any plans for the president to travel ‍to the ⁤Capitol:

No. I did not know that. I mean, I don’t ‍think — that couldn’t⁤ have happened. Nobody had — ⁤nobody would be prepared for that. There ‌would ‌be no security to do that. There would be no — I mean, that was like I said, talked about a couple of ⁢days, whenever it was prior, and⁢ it was‌ scoffed at and moved on, and I never heard about it again.

More Than Just Ornato

Ornato was not the only ‌administration⁢ official whose testimony undermined Hutchinson’s credibility. Loudermilk’s report cited “four White House employees” whose ⁤testimonies directly contradicted Hutchinson’s claims.

“None of the White House employees corroborated Hutchinson’s sensational story about ⁤President Trump lunging⁤ for the steering wheel of the Beast,” the report stated. “None of them testified to hearing anything even remotely similar to Hutchinson’s account.”

Furthermore, one former White House⁤ employee disputed Hutchinson’s testimony‌ that Trump made a comment implying support for the‍ execution of Vice President Mike Pence. The unnamed staffer “testified ⁢that neither the President nor any other staff member made comments”‌ regarding the “Hang Mike Pence” chants at the Capitol. ⁤

Collusion Between J6 Committee and Fani Willis

In December, House Republicans sent letters to Chairman Thompson ‍and Fani Willis, the Georgia prosecutor who indicted Trump, to investigate potential coordination between the two investigations targeting Trump. ‍Loudermilk’s report on Monday outlined strong evidence of collusion between Thompson’s efforts on the Jan. 6 committee ⁢and Willis’ politically motivated prosecution ⁣of the Republican presidential frontrunner and presumptive nominee.

“Based‍ on public reporting, the Select Committee shared important records with Willis ⁤and the Fulton County District Attorney’s Office,” Loudermilk’s team revealed. “The Subcommittee ⁤has initiated an⁣ investigation into the extent of the coordination between Willis and the Select‍ Committee ⁢and is committed to uncovering⁤ the truth behind⁤ these allegations.”

Willis is currently under investigation for hiring ⁣a special prosecutor on⁣ the‍ Trump case with whom she had a ‍romantic relationship.
