Haley ready for GOP debate, rallies as top prep.
2024 Republican Presidential Candidate Nikki Haley Ready for First Debate
2024 Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley is eagerly anticipating the first Republican presidential debate. She believes that her extensive attendance at rallies leading up to the debate has prepared her well.
Haley, the former governor of South Carolina, proudly shared that she participated in 80 town halls across Iowa and New Hampshire. These town halls allowed attendees to ask any question they desired. The highly anticipated debate is scheduled for Wednesday night.
Up for Debate: Trump, DeSantis, and 2024 GOP Hopefuls’ Stance on Crime
“You get the hard questions, you have to give the true answers, and that’s the best debate prep I can hope for,” Haley expressed during her appearance on Fox News Sunday. “So we are looking forward to going and being on that debate stage, letting everybody see the options, but we’re going to talk about our vision. Our vision for America.”
Prior to the upcoming debate, the Republican candidates who have qualified to speak at the event include Haley, former President Donald Trump, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, Sen. Tim Scott (R-SC), former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, former Vice President Mike Pence, entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy, and Gov. Doug Burgum (R-ND).
Candidates have until Monday night to prove their eligibility for the debate, which is 48 hours before the Republican National Committee’s event in Milwaukee. Former Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchinson claimed on Sunday that he has qualified, but the verification process is still ongoing. The RNC has not yet verified his donors or received his signed pledge.
Similarly, Miami Mayor Francis Suarez announced on Friday that he has met the requirements for the first primary debate. However, the RNC has cast doubt on these claims.

While Trump is qualified to participate in the debate, he has stated that he will not be attending the event on Wednesday. Christie, a vocal critic of the former president, has urged Trump to attend the debate and “stop being such a coward.”
The debate is scheduled to begin at 9 p.m. and will be moderated by Fox News.
