Fulton County’s false Trump indictment is Democrats’ new effort to criminalize free speech.

Trump and Associates Charged in Attempt to Overturn 2020 Election

On Monday night, ‍Fulton County, Georgia’s highly partisan⁤ district attorney,‍ Fani Willis, announced that⁢ former‍ President Donald Trump and ‍18 of his associates would be charged for⁤ what she⁤ claims ⁣was an attempt to “conspire[] and endeavor[] to conduct and participate⁤ in criminal enterprise” to overturn the⁢ results of the 2020 election.

With more evidence implicating President⁤ Joe‌ Biden⁢ in his family’s ‌foreign business‌ affairs dropping regularly, Democrats apparently thought this week would be the perfect time to drop another round of get-Trump ‌indictments.

Among the⁤ other people named in the 98-page indictment are Rudy‍ Giuliani and Mark Meadows, the former president’s then-lawyer and chief of staff, respectively.

While a cursory reading of the melodramatic accusations made⁢ at the indictment’s⁤ outset will undoubtedly give America’s⁤ regime-approved media the vapors, a deep dive into the full filing reveals just how egregious the charges really are. To justify her claim that Trump and his associates ‍engaged in a “conspiracy” to overturn the⁤ 2020 election results, Willis cites ‌numerous acts of indictees engaging in lawful free speech that she asserts helped further this so-called conspiracy.

In Act 22, for example, ⁣Willis cites a Dec.⁣ 3, 2020, tweet from ‍Trump telling his followers to tune into One America News Network (OANN) to watch state legislative hearings ⁤on Georgia’s elections. According to Willis, this constitutes “an⁤ overt⁢ act in furtherance of the conspiracy.”

But the incident is hardly ‍the‍ first in which Willis attempts to criminalize ‍free speech. In Act ⁣100, she similarly claims a Dec. 30, 2020, ⁢Trump tweet telling people to ‍watch other hearings on the conduction of‍ Georgia’s 2020 election on OANN ⁣and Newsmax is another example of Trump furthering ‌this ⁢so-called⁣ conspiracy.

Other examples of perfectly legitimate actions ⁢or⁣ rhetoric⁢ Willis cited⁢ as a “furtherance” of alleged crimes include a Dec. 7, 2020, retweet⁤ by Giuliani ⁣of ‍a tweet encouraging Georgians ⁤to “call [their] state Senate House Reps ask them to sign⁤ the petition for special session” to ensure the state‌ has “free ⁤& fair elections.” Willis also cited a Nov. 7,‍ 2020,⁣ text Meadows sent to‌ Rep. Scott Perry, R-Pa., asking for the phone numbers of Pennsylvania’s House ‍speaker and Senate leader ‌because Trump wanted “to chat with⁣ them.”

At the end⁢ of the day, Willis’ sham indictment is nothing more ⁣than a blatant, Democrat-backed attempt to criminalize Americans’ First Amendment ⁢right to free speech. It’s not just designed to silence Trump and⁤ his associates, but anyone who ⁣dares to go against Democrats and their Marxist agenda.

Much like the other indictments leveled⁢ against Trump, Willis’ ‌charges are ‌just⁢ a preview of what leftist politicians across ⁤the country want to ⁣do to everyday Americans. If they can do it to him and other notable Republicans, they can — and will — do it to you.
