Your‌ summary is concise and clear, highlighting the key details of the situation ‍involving Fulton County District Attorney Fani⁢ Willis, Judge ⁣Scott,⁤ and the Georgia election interference case.

Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis appealed a ruling made by the judge overseeing the Georgia election interference case that dismissed some of the charges against former President Donald Trump and others.

In March, Fulton County Superior Court Judge Scott McAfee found that six indictment counts must be dropped, including three against Trump. McAfee said the counts did not have sufficient detail regarding the nature of the violations; however, he wrote that prosecutors could seek new indictments on the dismissed charges.

The move came after Trump and the other defendants asked an appeals court to reverse McAfee’s ruling to allow Willis to continue prosecuting the case after she was found to have had a romantic relationship with special prosecutor Nathan Wade.

Trump and more than a dozen other defendants were charged with violating Georgia’s Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act.

The six dismissed counts charged the defendants with soliciting public officers to violate their oath.

One of the dismissed counts stemmed from a phone call Trump made to Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger on Jan. 2, 2021. Trump had allegedly told the secretary to “find 11,780 votes.”

Trump was also accused of soliciting then-Georgia House Speaker David Ralston to call a special special session of the legislature to appoint a presidential elector unlawfully, but that count was also dropped.
