‘Dances With Wolves’ Star Faces Nine New Charges, Including Sexual Exploitation

Additional Arrest Warrants Issued for “Dances With Wolves” Actor Nathan Chasing Horse

More trouble is brewing for actor Nathan Chasing Horse, known for his role in “Dances With Wolves.” Already in jail awaiting trial for charges related to running a sex cult, Chasing Horse now faces additional arrest warrants issued by Canadian authorities.

The warrants include nine new charges, including sexual exploitation, sexual assault, sexual interference with a minor, and child removal from Canada. The investigation, spanning several years, revealed that one offense allegedly occurred in 2005.

Chasing Horse has been behind bars in a Las Vegas jail since January, facing 18 felony charges, including sexual assault of a minor, child abuse, and kidnapping.

The actor’s arrest came after a SWAT raid on his North Las Vegas home, where he reportedly lived with five wives. Shockingly, one of these wives was allegedly given to him as a “gift” when she was just 15 years old.

Authorities have uncovered disturbing details about Chasing Horse’s alleged activities. According to a 50-page search warrant obtained by the Associated Press, he is accused of leading a cult called The Circle, where he used his position to abuse underage Native American girls. The investigation began after a tip was received in October 2022, suggesting that Chasing Horse’s crimes have been ongoing for about two decades.

Chasing Horse gained fame for his role as Smiles a Lot in “Dances With Wolves.” After the film, he became known as a medicine man, performing healing ceremonies and spiritual gatherings among tribes in the U.S. and Canada. Tragically, it was in this revered position that he allegedly abused at least six victims, some as young as 13.

The search warrant revealed that Chasing Horse manipulated spiritual traditions and beliefs to sexually assault young girls. His followers believed he had the ability to communicate with higher beings and referred to him as “Medicine Man” or “Holy Person.”

While Chasing Horse was arrested for crimes committed in Clark County, Nevada, the search warrant suggests that he may have committed offenses in other states, including Montana, South Dakota, and other parts of Nevada. The allegations against him include sex trafficking, sexual assault of a minor, child abuse, recording sexual assaults, and arranging for others to engage in sexual acts with the victims for a fee.

Furthermore, the warrant revealed that Chasing Horse was previously expelled from the Fort Peck Reservation in Montana in 2015 due to accusations of human trafficking.

Chasing Horse’s attorneys claim that his accusers willingly engaged in sexual activities with him, but the evidence suggests otherwise.
