Country Singer Tim McGraw Helps Cancer-Stricken Father Fulfill Wish For Young Daughters
Tim McGraw, country singer from the United States, helped a young father realize his dream after being diagnosed with stage four glioblastoma.
Country music star at 55 thanked all his fans and those who alerted him. Video Written by Michael Hugo, 37 years old, who was diagnosed with brain tumors the year before.
“Thanks to everyone who shared Mike Hugo’s video on social media and tagged me in the comments,” The song was written by the country singer.
“So glad we were able to actually get together in person, meet this amazing family, and make it happen!” He also included clips of Hugo and his family meeting the singer.
“Mike is saving the videos for his daughters’ future weddings … what a special thing to be a part of,” McGraw went on.
Hugo discussed how he would react to the new clip. “fight hard” to be present when his daughters, who are now 6 and 7 years respectively, marry, although he acknowledged that the odds of this happening were low.
“I know the statistics,” The father explained. “The statistics for glioblastoma are a median survival of 14 months; half the people are dead by 14 months. The five-year survival is four or five percent.”
He asked then if there were any connections to get the footage to people near him. “Don’t Take The Girl” hitmaker. McGraw and his wish was to make a video in which they sing a duet of his song. “My Little Girl” This could then be used for the day that his daughters are married.
Hugo shared stories about writing letters to his daughters, with words of wisdom, and got emotional. He also talked about his desire to be there when his daughters marry. “going to be tough.”
“I did the daddy-daughter dance in Wellington, and that was awesome,” Hugo stated. “That kind of made me think, ‘Man, I want to dance with my kids at their wedding.'”
