Breaking: Trump faces 11 criminal charges in GA.
Former President Donald Trump Indicted in Georgia
Late Monday night, a Georgia grand jury in Fulton County indicted former President Donald Trump and 18 other defendants over their efforts to overturn the 2020 election results in the state.
The 98-page indictment is the fourth brought against Trump this year.
He faces two federal indictments and one in the state of New York.
Trump now faces 11 counts in the new indictment, which include violating the Georgia RICO Act, solicitation of violation of oath by a public officer, conspiracy to commit impersonating a public officer, conspiracy to commit forgery in the first degree, conspiracy to commit false statements and writings, conspiracy to commit filing false documents, filing false documents, and solicitation of violation of oath by a public officer, as reported by Fox News.
The indictment states that Trump and the other defendants refused to accept his loss in the 2020 presidential election and knowingly joined a conspiracy to unlawfully change the outcome in his favor.
The defendants allegedly acted between November 4, 2020, and September 15, 2022, operating in various states, including Georgia, Arizona, Michigan, Nevada, New Mexico, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, and the District of Columbia.

Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis has given the defendants until August 25 to surrender to authorities, according to a report by Fox.
Trump’s Reaction and Backlash
Trump posted his reaction to the news on Truth Social, criticizing the district attorney and calling the indictments bogus.
Earlier on Monday, the Fulton County court website posted a document containing 13 indictments against Trump, which sparked backlash from Republicans and his attorneys.
The attorneys accused the Fulton County District Attorney’s Office of disrespecting the integrity of the grand jury process and stated that it was not a simple administrative mistake.
The indictment marks another legal challenge for Trump, who already faces multiple indictments at the federal and state levels.
