Radical Cultural Change Coming to America?

In just a short time, many Americans are bewildered and shocked by what is happening.
This is not just about riots, protests, crime, war, and corruption.
There is something more insidious going on and it is frightening to some and a source of anger that is growing, among others.
How can it be that Americans would want to defund police, release felons indiscriminately, pay reparations, deliberately discriminate to favor some by the color of their skin instead of for merit, while disgracing the flag and creating sanctuaries for criminals?
All this and more for the sake of identity politics, social justice, and other lame reasons.
But wait, there is so much more.
Congress wanted to send hundreds of millions of dollars to countries like Sudan, Palestine, Libya, Egypt, Pakistan, Oman, and Pakistan during a COVID-19 Crisis while American small businesses go bankrupt, others losing their homes, suffer from hunger or get evicted.
Congress thinks it best to send taxpayer dollars to fund museums or fund studies or help Pakistan with its gender problems. More confusing is the willingness to build border walls in the Middle East for half a dozen countries while wanting to defund ICE.
Americans hear attacks on capitalism and free markets, even comparing it to slavery.
There is a sense in Washington DC that there is an endless pit of money to pay for everything. Free healthcare? No problem. Free money and healthcare for undocumented immigrants (illegals)? No problem. Free college. Easy. Heck, why not provide a free guaranteed income?
While talk of socialism by youthful radicals and other activists has increased, their relative understanding of what socialism means is not reassuring and typically shows they don’t know what the hell they are talking about.
Additionally, we have attacks on everything from Christianity to masculinity, from profiteering being evil to a laundry list of negative rants against marriage, family, corporations, government, and whatever the rant-du-jour might be.
It all amounts to a full attack across all the institutions that hold our society together.
This is all absurd, of course, but not taking it seriously would be at our peril. We have millions of people in the USA who support such craziness. They may be lazy, ignorant, fool-hearty, without ambition, spoiled and worse, but they are active and relentless. We got a taste of it during 2020 with the indiscriminate looting, burning, mayhem across the country in major cities by BLM and ANTIFA.
And it will get worse as radical left District Attorneys get elected to office and refuse to litigate criminals, corporations surrender to the slightest complaint on social media, political parties corrupt the voting process, billionaires spend money freely to buy influence and win seats for preferred candidates, and universities corrupt the minds of our youth with Marxist, socialist, communist views.
The USA has witnessed the greatest lockdown in history due to China’s COVID-19 virus. The Democratic leadership has used it to shutter commerce, lock people in their homes, and exercise total control at the expense of civil rights.
This is a new phenomenon and portends future controls tantamount to totalitarian regimes.
President-elect Biden has already warned us. He told us just before Christmas that “the darkest days are still ahead of us…not behind us”. Can you believe he was only talking about the virus?
It finally took the Supreme Courts in two States to rule against Democrats who prohibit religious worship. Powermongers say we cannot pray in Church, but we can go to buy marijuana, liquor, or lottery tickets. The hypocrites demand we comply while not abiding themselves with their autocratic rules.
So, what does Biden mean by darker days?
With the newfound ability to shut down entire cities and states, regardless of Constitutional rights, lawmakers can restrict us wholly or in part for any political cause.
For instance, we have the Democratic obsession with climate change. That could inspire everything from banning fossil fuels and instituting graduated carbon and gas taxes so high that it forces acceptance even when unnecessary, costly, and inefficient.
We already see the debilitating attitudes from identity politics that declares any “un-Woke” sentiment as racist, misogynist, xenophobic, homophobic, etc. Identity politics creates fear and division, pitting Americans against Americans. It is intended to create social upheaval and fear.
The States of California, Oregon and Washington are unfortunate examples of what identity politics can do to ruin culture, to ruin quality of life, to endanger citizenry and to force successful taxpayers to leave the state. The concern is that the wave may move east from the West Coast.
Another example would be to outlaw or restrict activities like gun clubs and ranges, hunting, and other uses of guns while taxing ammunition so high that it is prohibitive. Imagine having to pay $10 per bullet in taxes or worse, they make it a felony to carry a gun outside or inside your home for any reason.
The Constitution and Bill of Rights are merely obstacles for left-liberals to overcome and control society.
With the support of media, academia, celebrities, and rich donors, politicians can lock us down like Pavlov’s dog – afraid to come out of our homes. This creates dependency. Once this is accomplished, our culture, our freedom, our pioneering spirit is lost.
That would be the darkest day imaginable.
