Biden’s new rules are causing harm, says Riley Gaines: ‘Women deserve safety.’

Former Championship Swimmer Speaks Out Against Biden’s Proposed Title IX Changes

Female Athletes Deserve Safety, Privacy, Equal Opportunity, and Respect

Former championship swimmer-turned-women’s sports advocate, Riley Gaines, recently spoke out against the Biden administration’s proposed changes to Title IX. She believes that these changes will take away female athletes’ right to safety and respect.

Gaines stated on Fox & Friends, “As women, we deserve the bare minimum. We deserve safety, privacy, equal opportunity, and respect.”

President Joe Biden’s proposed Title IX changes would make it a violation to ban transgender athletes from participating in sporting competitions based on their identified gender. Gaines believes that this change would be detrimental to women’s sports and would completely destroy the integrity of women’s sports.

Gaines testified before the House Homeland Security Committee in its “Hearing On Left-Wing Violence” about threats she has faced while speaking out against biological males who identify as transgender females participating in women’s athletics.

Gaines Stands with Republican Leaders in Support of a “Women’s Bill of Rights”

Gaines also stands alongside other Republican leaders in support of a “Women’s Bill of Rights” that seeks to define the word woman. She believes that it is mind-blowing that we even have to have this as a law.

What Female Athletes Deserve:

  • Safety
  • Privacy
  • Equal Opportunity
  • Respect

Female athletes deserve to compete in a fair and safe environment. Gaines believes that the proposed changes to Title IX would take away these basic rights and harm women’s sports. She will continue to speak out against these changes and stand with other Republican leaders in support of a “Women’s Bill of Rights.”
