Biden denies Archer testimony: ‘False’
President Biden Pushes Back on Claims of Involvement in Hunter Biden’s Business
President Joe Biden recently faced a tough question from Fox News’ Peter Doocy regarding congressional testimony from Devon Archer, a former business associate of Hunter Biden.
“There’s this testimony now where one of your son’s former business associates is claiming that you were on speaker phone a lot talking business,” Doocy posed to the president.
Biden, currently on a tour of Western states promoting “Bidenomics,” bristled at the question but responded confidently, “I never talked business. I knew you’d have a lousy question.”
Archer’s testimony, given in July, alleged that Hunter Biden used his father’s position as vice president to sell potential business partners on false promises of access. Archer also claimed that the president himself participated in business calls with his son, contradicting Biden’s previous statements denying involvement in Hunter’s business dealings.
Until now, Biden had not directly addressed Archer’s testimony. The White House has consistently referred questions about Hunter Biden’s business to the Justice Department. Press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre has reiterated that Biden stands by his previous statements regarding his son’s business.
The president’s response to Doocy’s question came at the conclusion of his final event in New Mexico before heading to Utah as part of his ongoing tour. Despite the contentious exchange, Biden remains focused on promoting his economic agenda and securing the nation’s supply chain.
Bidenomics Tour Continues
President Biden’s tour of Western states has been aimed at highlighting his economic policies and garnering support for his agenda. After visiting Arizona and New Mexico earlier in the week, he will now travel to Utah to engage with local communities and discuss his plans for the future.
As the tour progresses, Biden remains determined to address the concerns of Americans and emphasize the importance of his economic vision. While facing tough questions, the president remains steadfast in his commitment to his policies and the betterment of the nation.
