Biden refers to foreign leader as ‘Loon,’ term removed from White House transcript.

Biden’s Asian Tour Filled with Gaffes

President Joe Biden’s recent Asian tour was filled with embarrassing gaffes, including calling South Korea’s leader “President Loon” instead of Yoon Suk Yeol. The mistake was quickly corrected in the official White House transcript, but it was just one of several missteps on the trip.

Confusing Policy Statements

Biden also made confusing policy statements, including discussing the One China policy and referring to Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida as “president” multiple times. The transcript also revealed that Biden used the wrong amount when discussing the deficit, saying he cut it by $1.7 billion instead of trillion.

Physical Mishaps

In addition to verbal blunders, Biden was also shown having difficulty navigating steps and appearing briefly uncertain of his destination. These incidents were captured on video and shared online.

Despite these missteps, Biden continues to face criticism and skepticism about his ability to lead. A recent poll found that 68% of respondents believe he is too old to run for president in 2024.
