Young Mother Shot Dead in Kroger Parking Lot in Front of Child After Altercation

In a parking lot of a grocery store, a young mother was killed in front her baby. South Carolina.

Alexandria Cress Borys, Alexandria’s husband, went grocery shopping at Kroger in Irmo (South Carolina) around 4 p.m. Valentine’s Day. Alexandria’s husband, Tyler Borys, told WIS-TV His wife was out shopping with their 2-year old son, their sister-in-law and niece.

Borys and another lady were packing groceries into their car.

Tyler Borys, “From what I have pieced together, they had either concluded the argument or Alex was walking away. It’s indicating she was shot with her back turned.”

At the ceremony, the 26 year-old mother was declared deceased. crime scene Tuesday, around 5:30 p.m.

The Shooting According to her husband, Alexandria’s death occurred six days after her brother had died from a gunshot injury.

Investigators found that the two women had been involved in a heated verbal argument before the shooting. However, it is unknown what the dispute was about.

“Unfortunately, this is a situation where tempers flared, and someone let anger get the best of them. One rash decision has impacted the lives of two families and countless others who witnessed this tragic event.” Bobby Dale, chief of Irmo Police said that Facebook. “Senseless is the only word I can think of to describe what happened today.”

Christina Harrison, 23, was identified as the suspect. She fled the scene and surrendered later to the Irmo Police Department. On Tuesday, she was booked at the Lexington County Detention Center. Harrison was charged with murder and unlawfully carrying a gun.

The mother of the deceased was a cosmetologist who also studied nursing.

WIS interviewed a former Alexandria colleague. “And it’s just really sad that you took away a mom, a sister, a daughter, a wife for something so senseless.”

“I was actually supposed to meet her on Valentine’s Day to give her the stuff that I made for her. So, she texted me that morning and I never heard anything back, and we obviously know the reason why,” Borys’s former colleague, a Columbian doctor’s assistant for many years, said this woman.

Tyler Borys called Alexandria Alexandria “best wife you could ever ask for.”

“She was also a great mother,” He told the story WACH.

Tyler Borys was the first to launch a GoFundMe Fundraising campaign to fund a memorial for Alexandria

“A beautiful woman, wonderful mother, compassionate wife, trusting friend, and so so much more. Alexandria was truly taken too soon,” Tyler wrote.
