You Shouldn’t Take Asa Hutchinson Seriously

2 min read

The former governor of Arkansas, Asa Hutchinson, is running for the Republican Party’s presidential nomination in 2024, but don’t take him seriously. His campaign is similar to that of Eric Swalwell’s failed bid for the Democratic Party’s presidential nomination in 2020, which was an egotistical attempt to boost name recognition and commercial viability. Hutchinson’s campaign has not gained any traction and is fundamentally flawed.

He has shown a lack of interest in his constituents and pushed for transgenderism in the country’s youth, publicly speaking about the “limited government” approach. He is out of touch with Republican voters and grassroots conservatives, and his Covid policies have been questionable.

As every political entity that wishes to stop Donald Trump, Hutchinson will likely attract millions of dollars from people who dislike the 45th president. Unfortunately, the reason Hutchinson is planning on running for office to raise funds to enrich himself and his allies through political nonprofit organizations and political action committees.

There is no chance he will become president; he just wants to be rich and famous.
