‘You Dummies’: Actress Shailene Woodley Rips Media As Fiancé Aaron Rodgers Battles NFL Over Vax Status

Actress Shailene Woodley ripped into the media as her fiancé, Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers, publicly battles the NFL — and the media — over his vaccination status.

Woodley mocked the media for reading into an Instagram post she published, ridiculing their “determination to make a story out of nothing.”

In an Instagram story, Woodley reposted the quote, “Calm seas may bring you peace. But storms are where you’ll find your power.”

“Just read somewhere that the media is claiming I deleted an Insta story amid the ‘chaos.’ (An astrology post of all things) (not cryptic at all you dummies.)” the “Big Little Lies” star wrote, following news reports.

“Do you even know how stories work brah? They self-delete after 24 hours,” Woodley added. “Literally lol’ing over here over your determination to make a story out of nothing. Grasping at straws my dears.”

Notably, an Instagram “story” self-deletes after 24 hours.

Rodgers earlier this year told the media that he was “immunized” against COVID. Though some are claiming the statement is a “lie” from Rodgers, who has not been vaccinated, the QB has said that he was referring alternative treatments he went through he believed would raise his immunity levels against COVID.

“First of all, I didn’t lie in the initial press conference,” Rodgers said, The Daily Wire reported. “During that time, it was a witch hunt that was going on across the league where everybody in the media was so concerned about who was vaccinated and who wasn’t and what that meant … And at the time, my plan was to say that I had been immunized. It wasn’t some sort of ruse or lie. It was the truth.”

The football star says he has an allergy to an ingredient in the mRNA vaccines and was also uncomfortable taking the Johnson & Johnson vaccine due to some people having bad reactions, The Daily Wire report added. “He decided to go an alternative route and that the NFL was aware of it. He petitioned the NFL to accept his immunization status and was denied.”

Last Sunday, backup Jordan Love played QB for the Packers against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Earlier this week, Rodgers received support from his biggest sponsor, State Farm.

“Aaron Rodgers has been a great ambassador for our company for much of the past decade,” State Farm said in a statement.

“We don’t support some of the statements that he has made, but we respect his right to have
