Willie Nelson To Celebrate 90th Birthday With Star-Studded Summer Concert Tour

Country music legend Willie Nelson On Tuesday, he announced that he will celebrate his 90th Birthday with a star-studded concert tour across the United States.

“I can’t wait to be on the road with the amazing group of artists joining us on this year’s Outlaw Music Festival Tour,” Nelson stated that in Press release. “It is always a great day of music and fun with family, friends and the incredible fans, and even more special this year in celebration of my 90th birthday.”

From June through August, the 89-year old country singer will be performing in theatres, festivals, pavilions and other venues. New York Post reported. Nelson will be joined at the event by John Fogerty and Margo Price, as well as other stars like Chris Stapleton and Margo Price.

Nelson founded the company in 2016. “Outlaw Music Festival was a one-time event before eventually transitioning to its current annual touring festival,” Send a message to the Tickets site read.

“The festival begins in June in St. Louis, finishing up in Philadelphia in September. Willie Nelson and Family will headline each date while being joined by a host of musicians, like Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit, ZZ Top, Chris Stapleton, Brothers Osbourne, and more,” The message was added to the site.

The festival will begin in Somerset, Washington on June 23, with stops in Dallas and Philadelphia. It will conclude in Cincinnati, Ohio on August 30, after a final stop in St. Louis. Tickets and information can be found here. OutlawMusicFestival.com.

The tour will be held after the “On The Road Again” The hitmaker will celebrate his birthday in California closer to the actual date with a two-day concert at the Hollywood Bowl on April 29th and 30th. The outlet stated that Neil Young, Kacey Mulgraves, and Snoop Dogg will be part of the celebration.

He also has dates in North America planned where he will be performing solo. He will be playing shows from April 14th through May 31st, and may occasionally share the headliner duties with ZZ Top or Jelly Roll. More information is available Here.
