White House launches arcade site featuring border wall ‘horde’ game

In addition to the arcade site, the white House recently introduced a website related to UFO documents, which critics say detracts from more pressing issues like the economy and foreign policy. these digital initiatives aim to bolster the administration’s messaging and public engagement through innovative online content.
The White House on Thursday launched a new arcade website featuring games promoting President Donald Trump’s immigration agenda, Trump accounts, and the “Make America Healthy Again” initiative, as well as other games with patriotic themes.
Arcade.gov includes two games that prompt users to protect the border, one of which asks gamers to defend the border from the “coming horde.” The White House teased a new social media initiative earlier in the day, saying, “It’s time to level up, patriots.”

A White House official told the Washington Examiner that Arcade.gov is intended to “tell the story” of Trump’s agenda and contrast his policies with those of Democrats.
“This administration is laser focused on ways to innovate and tell the story of the President’s many accomplishments in a way that resonates with every American,” the official said. “The President continues to rack up victory after victory on behalf of the American public, while opponents of his agenda are defending their record of raising taxes and empowering criminal illegal aliens. This is an effort to further contrast between a culture of fun and winning and the dark socialist vision Democrats have for America.”
The new website offers five games to play, all inspired by classic arcade games and designed to fit Trump’s initiatives.
“Flappy Bill” flies a bald eagle over the National Mall, “Build the Wall” is inspired by Tetris to build a border wall, “Rio Run” has a Border Patrol agent arresting illegal immigrants, “Supply Line” has users sort lunches by pulling unhealthy food off a conveyor belt, and “Trump Saving Tycoon” collects items to fill Trump Accounts.
Trump deputy assistant Kaelan Dorr said the new website is intended to be “policy you can interact with.”
Arcade.gov is the latest move by the White House to increase its presence on social media, allowing Trump’s moves to be seen by a younger audience.

Critics on the Left widely panned the launch of the UFO site as a distraction from Trump’s low approval stemming from the economy and the Iran war and are likely to do the same with the arcade site.
