What to Believe When Experts Lie?

What do you believe in these times?

America is subject to relentless deception, lies, and games being played to change the way we live.

Politicians have been hammering us for the past year about Covid-19 with conflicting advice. Do you remember when it was stated by experts that the virus is not much different than the SARs flu? That it is not contagious, not a problem, no masks are needed, and all are under control by China and the WHO?

Well, we know those assessments were flat wrong.

Remember we were told Covid-19 could live on surfaces for hours? The craze was on. Wipe down everything all the time or you will be infected.

Back and forth it goes.  CDC and Fauci constantly change their guidance which is understandable except every time they make a new rule, it is issued with high conviction and we are supposed to follow it as law.

Dr. Fauci’s expert advice has constantly changed. The virus was supposedly caused by bats at a food market in China. Worse of all, people can have the virus and not know it, being asymptomatic, and can pass it on to others.

Now a recent study was done in China (of all places) that asymptomatic transmission of the virus is not happening.

Yep, you read this right. Asymptomatic transmission rarely happens, if at all.

According to BBC and Life Site News, December 2020, “A study of almost 10 million people in Wuhan, China, found that asymptomatic spread of COVID-19 did not occur at all, thus undermining the need for lockdowns, which are built on the premise of the virus being unwittingly spread by infectious, asymptomatic people.”

It goes on to say, “Asymptomatic transmission has been the underlying justification of lockdowns enforced all across the world. The most recent guidance from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) still states that the virus “can be spread by people who do not have symptoms.” The CDC claimed that asymptomatic people “are estimated to account for more than 50 percent of transmissions.”

Remember when we were told that herd immunity will eventually force the disease to die off without a vaccine.

WebMD stated in June 2020, “Herd Immunity Threshold Could Be As Low As 43%”.

From BBC Science Focus, experts said in July, “The proportion of the population needed to become immune to achieve herd immunity (the ‘herd immunity threshold’) is calculated…and gives the threshold of 60 percent…”

But wait, the MD Anderson Medical Center stated on December 7, 2020, “Doctors estimate that about 40% to 50% of the human population would need to have antibodies in order to have herd immunity as a species.”

Our own CDC joined in with this, “When polls said only about half of all Americans would take a vaccine, I was saying herd immunity would take 70 to 75 percent,” Fauci said. “Then, when newer surveys said 60 percent or more would take it, I thought, ‘I can nudge this up a bit,’ so I went to 80, 85.”

The fact remains that our so-called “experts” don’t know and won’t tell us they don’t know but are telling us “science” is something we cannot disobey. Therefore, lockdowns are the answer.

The arrogance is breathtaking.

The errors, lies, deceptions have been coming at us for years. Most recently, we heard every accusation in the book against President Trump, especially the Russia hoax and Impeachment, and they all turned out to be false. The main media acted as the megaphone for false accusations.

How about this short-list of false, misleading statements made by experts who think they know the truth and we must accept as if law:

• There can be no peace negotiated between Arab states and Israel without including Palestine.
• Warp Speed is a pipedream that cannot deliver a vaccine in less than 2-5 years, if at all. It has never been done before and Trump is a liar.
• The greatest existential threat to humanity will ensure that in 6 or 8 or 10 years or so (since 2006) will be the irreversible decline of mankind on Earth.
• All oil and gas on Earth will run out by the year 2000 and nuclear power is unacceptable even if it is the most climate-friendly, carbon-free source of energy.
• Solar panels and wind turbines are best (but don’t count the carbon emissions used to create them).
• Defunding the police and releasing criminals early is a safe strategy for all Americans because of social justice.
• BLM and ANTIFA conducted peaceful protests.
• For our safety, we must close restaurants, gyms, churches, and outdoor events because lockdowns work even as citizens may go to Home Depot or Walmart or are involved in a peaceful protest.
• Presidents Lincoln, Washington, and Jefferson are not heroes in American history.
• Socialism is a better alternative to free-market capitalism.

And so it goes…Joe Biden says our darkest days are ahead of us.  If we continue with incompetent decisions and widespread mindless lockdowns, he will be right.

That may be true if we keep listening to ego-driven, arrogant, and elitist experts.

So far, the facts have been a farce.
