Weekly Update: Assessing Biden’s Response to Iran-Israel Tensions
The White House Report Card this week graded President Joe Biden with two “Ds” for his handling of the Middle East crisis. Despite warnings to Iran and Israel, attacks persisted, casting doubts on U.S. leadership. Biden’s recent statements and gaffes have raised concerns regarding his effectiveness in managing international conflicts. The ongoing tensions between Iran and Israel further challenge the U.S.’s role in promoting peace in the region.
This week’s White House Report Card finds President Joe Biden slapped with a pair of “Ds” by our graders who highlighted how ineffective he has been on the crisis in the Middle East.
Biden told both Iran and Israel not to attack, and both did, making U.S. leadership look pointless.
It was also a week when the list of Bidenisms grew, notably when he gathered members of the Kennedy clan to help him fend off a weak reelection threat from independent Robert F. Biden, for the third time in less than 24 hours, tells the dubious story about his “Uncle Bosey” and “a lot of cannibals” in New Guinea before repeating the debunked “suckers and losers” hoax.
He also claims D-Day was on a Sunday (it was on a Tuesday).

John Zogby
Grade: D
President Joe Biden has allowed himself to become a major player in a Middle East war. The United States has a limited role to play in any peace negotiations when it is perceived as a partisan. Now that there appears to be an escalation between Iran and Israel, the U.S. is neutered and prevented from being a player in any peace process.
Biden’s ColdWar/neo-conservative worldview is the wrong ideology in this context.
But at least he isn’t acting like former President Donald Trump, sleeping and insulting jurors and witnesses in his trial over charges of paying hush money to a porn star.
The race between Biden and Trump is very close, with Biden gaining in some polls. No real momentum on either side, though.

A long time ago, it was relatively easy to know when former Vice President and former Sen. Joe Biden made a gaffe, saying something unintentionally odd or funny. Now, as president, Old Joe is simply delusional.
Such as this week when he referred to one of his uncles who was lost while serving in World War II. The uncle, Ambrose Finnegan, was shot down while riding in an airplane near New Guinea. Biden said he was probably eaten by cannibals after crashing on land. Actually, Lt. Finnegan was shot down over the ocean, and his body was never recovered.
Biden’s gaffe is distinguishable from his delusions. For example, he also said that Americans had to choose between freedom and democracy this year. Does he even know the definitions of the words?
That was all at home while Biden campaigns and his reelection foe, former President Donald Trump, is tied up in court under judges’ gag orders.
On the non-domestic side, Biden warned Iran on April 12 to not attack Israel. They didn’t. They waited a day to launch over 300 drones and cruise and ballistic missiles at Israel. The Iranians gave three days’ warning of the attack to the U.S., Britain, Turkey and Jordan. Biden insisted that he never got the warning. He apparently didn’t, though the U.S. military did.
Right after the attack, Biden warned Israel not to respond militarily. They didn’t listen either. Funny, ain’t it, how irrelevant Biden has made the United States?
Domestically, Biden’s student loan “forgiveness” plan is going to cost taxpayers in excess of $550 billion. He is making a power grab on the internet and wants to raise taxes on the rich to make them pay their “fair share.” He also wants WNBA salaries raised so female pro basketballers will also get paid their “fair share.” Biden is like one of those people, reported by the Babylon Bee, who will do anything for the female athletes except actually watch the games.
