Megyn Kelly Slams Target for “Tuck-Friendly” Swimwear

Target’s Pride collection has come under fire for including women’s swimsuits with extra material to conceal men’s genitals. Podcast host Megyn Kelly didn’t hold back in her criticism of the retailer’s decision to partner with clothing manufacturer Abprallen, whose website features a “pro-Satan line of clothing.”

Target CEO Defends Decision

Despite the backlash, Target CEO Brian Cornell defended the company’s decision to include the controversial swimwear in their Pride collection. “It’s the right thing for society, and it’s the great thing for our brand,” he said in an interview with Fortune’s Leadership Next podcast. “The things we’ve done from a DE&I standpoint, it’s adding value. It’s helping us drive sales, it’s tuck-friendly-swimsuit/” title=”Megyn Kelly criticizes Target’s ‘tuck-friendly’ swimsuit, saying ‘We don’t have penises down south in Rio.'”>building greater engagement with both our teams and our guests, and those are just the right things for our business today.”

Abprallen’s Controversial Clothing Line

Abprallen’s website features a skeleton draped in rainbow colors, a “Trans Witches For Abortion” badge, and a “Satan respects pronouns” T-shirt. The product page for the shirt claims members of the LGBT+ community are “so often referred to as being a product of Satan or going against God’s will” and argues that the Church of Satan and The Satanic Temple are more tolerant of the gay community.

Target’s Pride Collection

Target’s Pride collection also includes baby onesies with rainbow patterns and merchandise with slogans like “We belong everywhere across the trans flag” and “Cure transphobia not trans people.” While some customers are boycotting the retailer over the controversial swimwear, others are applauding Target for their commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
