Watch: Trump Jumps Into Action to Corral Toddler Wandering Onstage

During a Nevada event at the Red Rock Casino Resort and Spa, then-President Donald Trump intervened to prevent a young child from possibly falling off the stage, making a humorous remark comparing the child’s potential mishap to President Joe Biden’s alleged lack of balance. The incident occurred while Trump was addressing the crowd, and after stopping the toddler, he jokingly said, “I don’t want him to be Biden and fall off this stage.” Later, the child unexpectedly expressed gratitude to Trump for his account, implying a positive and lighthearted moment. Trump had also promoted his new Trump Accounts and related initiatives during his speech. The event highlighted his quick reflexes and sense of humor, as well as moments of interaction with attendees’ children.

President Donald Trump stepped in to stop a toddler from potentially wandering offstage during a Nevada event on Wednesday evening — and showed off his parenting skills in the process.

He also turned the moment into a jab at former President Joe Biden, whose relationship with balance and basic motor skills was rocky during his time in the White House.

The moment unfolded at the Red Rock Casino Resort and Spa in Las Vegas, where Trump spoke at length.

After the president promoted his Trump Accounts and “no tax on tips” initiatives, he invited Sandra and Brad, a Nevada couple, onstage with their two young children, Fox News reported.

Sandra began speaking to the audience.

As she addressed the crowd, one of the family’s young children started moving toward the edge of the stage.

Trump quickly reached out and stopped the toddler before he could continue and potentially fall.

After helping to avert a potential injury, Trump made a comment that drew laughter from those in attendance.

“I don’t want him to be Biden and fall off the stage,” Trump said with a smile.

Later in the event, Sandra told Trump that her son wanted to say something to him.

Trump responded, “Yes, thank you, thank you very much.”

The little boy briefly babbled into the microphone.

After some encouragement from his mom, the little boy eventually said, “Thank you for my Trump Account.”

Trump Accounts, the newly launched tax-advantaged investment vehicles designed to build long-term wealth for American children, are officially live following their national rollout last month.

The IRA-style accounts were established when Trump signed the sweeping “Big Beautiful Bill” into law last year.
