WATCH: Tom Brady Surprises 10-Year-Old Cancer Survivor With Super Bowl Tickets

Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady surprised 10-year-old brain cancer survivor Noah Reeb with free Super Bowl tickets on Saturday.

Brady connected with Reeb last year after the boy’s parents sent a video to the seven-time Super Bowl champion. Reeb later appeared at a Buccaneers game with a sign that read, “Tom Brady helped me beat brain cancer.”

“You’ve inspired so many people, including myself, but millions of others also,” Brady told Reeb.

“The NFL and the Bucs look forward to sending deserving fans to the Super Bowl each year and fans that have incredible stories like the one you’ve had. So as a thank you, I worked with both the Bucs and the NFL to get you and your family Super Bowl tickets this year in LA!” the quarterback revealed in the surprise.

“We certainly hope to be there, but I know you’re gonna be there. It’s going to be really cool for all of us. So glad to see you’re doing well. Take care, man. And enjoy the tickets. Let’s go!” Brady added in the video.

The Buccaneers, who won last year’s Super Bowl, won the team’s NFC Wild Card playoff game on Sunday against the Philadelphia Eagles 31-15 in Tampa Bay.

Reeb’s story was featured by ESPN in October following his attendance at a Tampa Bay game where he held up his well-known sign.

“Hang tough. You’re going to be great. I know it. And get well soon. Take care,” Brady said in his first video to Reeb.

“It still really hurts to think about it,” Reeb said about his cancer treatments. Brady’s video helped inspire him and later led to his family attending a Bucs game in person. Now the family hopes to cheer for Brady and his team again at the Super Bowl.

At 44-years of age, Tom Brady returns for an incredible 21st season as the Bucs attempt to become the first team to repeat as Super Bowl champions since Brady’s New England Patriots did so in 2003-2004. They return all 22 starters from last season’s Super Bowl roster, and a full offseason of Brady learning Bruce Arians’ offense is a scary thought for the rest of the NFL. 

It was an eventful offseason for the Bucs and general manager Jason Licht, managing to re-sign six starters from the Super Bowl-winning team. 

“And we kinda found that during this process, that everybody wanted to be here,” Licht said. “I don’t want to say they took discounts, but it wasn’t as difficult as it would be if we were coming off a 9-7 year, that’s for sure. They all wanted to be here. They all love playing for this coach. They all love playing with the quarterback and with each other.” 

The NFL has never seen this type of continuity — all 22 starters returning from a Super Bowl-winning team — which is certainly a reason why Tampa Bay has the second best odds of winning Super Bowl 56 behind the Kansas City Chiefs.
