Reporter swears at Kari Lake as crowd boos him for her comeback.

Phoenix News Personality Curses at GOP Candidate During News Conference

During a news conference on Tuesday, Republican gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake accused Phoenix television news personality Brahm Resnik of refusing to say the Pledge of Allegiance at an event they both attended. Resnik responded by cursing at Lake, causing members of the audience to boo.

Lake also addressed her recent loss in a lawsuit challenging Democratic Gov. Katie Hobbs’ win in the November election, stating that she would appeal the case to the U.S. Supreme Court if necessary. Resnik questioned Lake’s decision to stick with her lawyers, who had lost every case they tried and had been sanctioned twice for misleading the court.

Resnik’s recounting of the facts regarding Lake’s lawsuit was not entirely accurate. While Lake did lose at the trial court level in December, the Arizona Supreme Court overruled the judge in March regarding one of the counts in Lake’s complaint. The justices ruled that the issue of whether Maricopa County followed the law in relation to signature verification on mail-in ballots should go to trial.

Resnik’s Actions Criticized

Lake also criticized Resnik’s actions at an event they both attended at Arizona State University regarding face mask policy during the COVID-19 pandemic. She accused Resnik of being on the wrong side of history and refusing to say the Pledge of Allegiance and put his hand on his heart. Resnik responded by accusing Lake of making things up.

Despite Resnik’s claims, Lake maintained that masks are not healthy for children and that Resnik was cheerleading for masks and vaccines. She also accused him of cheerleading for Maricopa County to continue to run shoddy elections.

Finally, Lake concluded the back-and-forth stating, “You don’t have to say the pledge, you’re in America, but it tells me everything I need to know about where you stand with this country.”

Reporter Curses at Kari Lake After Her Comeback Causes Crowd to Boo Him

Former Fox 10 anchor Kari Lake is running for governor of Arizona, and her recent comeback has caused quite a stir. During a campaign event, a reporter was caught on camera cursing at Lake after the crowd booed him for asking a question about her controversial past.

Despite facing criticism and legal challenges, Lake remains a popular figure among conservatives in Arizona. In fact, she recently won a major victory in court when the Arizona Supreme Court ruled that her name must be included on the ballot for the Republican primary.

However, the court also fined Lake $2,000 for violating campaign finance laws. While some have criticized the fine as being too lenient, others have pointed out that it is a relatively small amount in the context of such a major case.

Regardless, Lake’s opponents are not giving up without a fight. In an unrelated case from last summer, a federal judge ordered Lake and GOP secretary of state candidate Mark Finchem’s lawyers to pay Maricopa County’s legal fees.
