Representative Rashida Tlaib (D-MI), known for her history of anti-Semitism, faced a reporter’s questions on Capitol Hill regarding the beheadings of Israeli babies. However, Tlaib chose to remain silent, refusing to condemn the horrific acts.
This silence comes at a time when Israeli officials have confirmed the devastating loss of over 1,200 Israeli lives, including 14 Americans, in the recent wave of unprecedented terrorist attacks. Despite these tragic events, Tlaib, who is of Palestinian-American descent, released a statement blaming Israel for the attacks, calling for the lifting of the blockade, ending the occupation, and dismantling what she refers to as an apartheid system.
When confronted by a television crew, Tlaib evaded the questions and refused to provide any answers. The reporter pressed further, asking if she supported Israel’s right to defend themselves against such brutality, specifically mentioning the beheading of babies by Hamas terrorists. Tlaib continued to remain silent, even when asked multiple times.
As the reporter persisted, Tlaib finally turned to face them but still refused to respond. Ignoring the questions, she positioned herself in front of an elevator, attempting to escape further inquiry. The reporter questioned Tlaib’s display of a Palestinian flag outside her office, questioning her stance on the actions of Hamas terrorists. However, Tlaib quickly entered the elevator without uttering a word.
It is worth noting that in 2019, Tlaib expressed strong emotions and condemnation regarding the separation of migrant children from their parents at the border, deeming it traumatic and inhumane. Yet, when confronted with the beheadings of Israeli children by Hamas terrorists, she remained unresponsive and showed no reaction.

Fox News correspondent Bill Melugin highlighted on X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter, that Tlaib had previously shown strong emotions and voiced concerns about the separation of migrant children from their parents at the border. However, when confronted with the beheadings of Israeli children, she remained silent and unresponsive.

Why did Tlaib refuse to condemn the beheadings of Israeli babies?
Mas and the beheadings of innocent Israeli babies. Tlaib, in response, merely said, “I’m here for justice, freedom, and equality,” before stepping into the elevator and closing the doors.
This troubling refusal to condemn the beheadings of Israeli babies raises serious questions about Tlaib’s moral compass and her commitment to human rights. It is deeply concerning that someone who holds a position of power and influence in the United States Congress would choose to remain silent in the face of such grotesque acts of violence and terrorism.
Tlaib’s history of anti-Semitism further adds to the gravity of her silence. She has consistently made inflammatory and offensive statements about Israel and the Jewish people, including supporting the boycott, divestment, and sanctions (BDS) movement.
