The deer⁤ has large masses on⁤ its chest and⁤ jaw that are turning purple, while the rest of its body maintains a normal hue. Wildlife⁣ experts are ⁤unsure of the cause behind this unusual phenomenon. Nathan Bieber, ‌a deer biologist for the⁣ Maine Department of Inland Fisheries⁤ and Wildlife, stated that there are⁢ many possibilities, but without sending samples to a lab, it’s impossible to know for sure.

The Maine Warden Service suggests‌ that the deer may be suffering from fibroma, which is an infection. While deer with fibromas can live a normal life, severe cases should ⁢be reported to the state.

Photographer Tony Gedaro‌ captured footage of the purple deer and shared it ⁤on Facebook, sparking a wave of curiosity and speculation. Internet sleuths have been trying to solve the mystery of the ⁣purple deer, suggesting ‌everything ⁢from birthmarks to toxic exposure.

Although the exact location of‌ the deer has been kept secret to avoid large crowds, people continue to spot⁣ the purple deer in various areas. The mystery remains unsolved, but the purple deer continues to captivate the imagination of ‌nature enthusiasts.
