Exciting news! Podcaster Megyn Kelly has just announced that she will be interviewing Donald Trump on September 14. This interview comes seven years after their last encounter and eight years after their infamous feud began at a 2015 Republican primary debate.
“Next week, I’ll be interviewing former president Donald Trump,” Kelly told her audience with anticipation. “It will be my first interview with the former president in seven years, and there is so much to get to.”
Back in 2015, when Kelly was a Fox News host, she fearlessly asked Trump about his derogatory remarks towards women. She questioned why he had referred to women he disliked as “fat pigs,” “dogs,” “slobs,” and “disgusting animals.” Trump’s response was far from pleasant, as he snapped at Kelly during the debate and continued to criticize her afterwards.
Despite their rocky history, Kelly and Trump had a one-on-one interview in May 2016. During this interview, Trump expressed his belief that Kelly’s question had been unfair.
Now, Kelly is thrilled that Trump, who is currently leading in the Republican primary polls, has agreed to this upcoming interview.
“Trump knows that I’m not someone who suffers from Trump Derangement Syndrome, like the vast majority of people in the media,” Kelly stated confidently. “But I’m also not a sycophant, so I’m not going to go in there and be a bootlicker.”
