Recently, Kennedy faced condemnation​ from​ Democratic watchdogs⁤ and even his ‍own⁢ relatives ⁢for his comments‍ suggesting‌ that COVID-19 was ethnically targeted.‌ While⁣ he has since ⁤clarified that he does⁤ not believe‍ the virus was⁤ intentionally engineered for this purpose,⁣ the backlash‌ against him has⁢ been⁤ severe.

Despite their disagreements, ​Chairman Jordan has ⁤decided⁣ to allow​ Kennedy ​to ⁢speak⁣ before the subcommittee, ⁣emphasizing ‌the importance ‌of ⁣addressing the‍ issue ‌of censorship.
